SRBP Attorneys Charles Postler and Jodi Dubose participated in the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar’s most recent installment of their COVID-19 & Beyond Virtual CLE Series, “Business UNusual: A Practical Overview of Bankruptcy in Florida Amidst COVID-19,” on Thursday, May 21, 2020. The 1.5 hour Zoom presentation featured Mr. Postler discussing substantive state and federal legislative solutions to the COVID-19 crisis in bankruptcy courts, including the CARES Act and the PPP loan program. Ms. Dubose moderated a panel of distinguished speakers addressing practical solutions to procedural issues in the bankruptcy court system caused by COVID-19, including the Honorable Mindy A. Mora, United States Bankruptcy Judge; Mr. Douglas Neway, Standing Chapter 13 Trustee in the Jacksonville Division of the Middle District of Florida; and Mr. Guy Van Baalen, Assistant United States Trustee for the Tampa and Miami Offices of the United States Trustee’s Office.
