Emily Clendenon joined the law firm of Stichter Riedel in 2020. She is a Tampa Bay native who became acquainted with contracts, leases, and deeds at an early age while assisting in the family real estate business. She earned her BSBA in Business Management degree with high honors and clerked with Stichter Riedel while attending Liberty University School of Law in the Virginia mountains. While clerking, she attended court hearings, researched legal issues, participated in client meetings, and drafted pleadings and contracts. At Liberty, she served as Vice President of Street Law Organization, an outreach that works with incarcerated youths to reduce recidivism. She also interned with Cru Organization, an international humanitarian non-profit, in their intellectual property and international affairs divisions. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced as an Assistant State Attorney for the 12th Judicial Circuit, Sarasota County Florida and the 13th Judicial Circuit, Hillsborough County Florida enjoying the busy courtroom experience of hearings and jury trials. She will generally be involved in all aspects of the practice at SRBP.
