Susan Heath Sharp joined Stichter, Riedel, Blain & Postler, P.A. in October 2004. Ms. Sharp regularly represents debtors, creditors, trustees, receivers, and other parties in bankruptcy cases. She has successfully reorganized individuals and corporations in Chapter 11 cases. Ms. Sharp has also handled most of the firm’s consumer Chapter 7 cases as well as Chapter 13 cases over the past few years, and has spent a significant amount of time in handling cases for deserving debtors on a pro bono basis. In addition, Ms. Sharp represents parties in assignments for the benefit of creditors and out-of–court workouts. Prior to law school, Ms. Sharp received her B.S. in accounting from Indiana University with highest distinction, and worked in public accounting is an audit manager with the national public accounting firm in Texas after passing the CPA exam in 1978. As a CPA she specialized in real estate development and banking issues. She is able to bring her accounting and business background to bear and analyzing the challenges confronting the firm’s business clients.
