Barbara A. Hart
Ms. Hart is a shareholder with the law firm of Stichter, Riedel, Blain & Postler, P.A., having joined the firm in 2009. Since joining Stichter Riedel, Ms. Hart has focused much of her practice on the sale of distressed assets and the workout of commercial debts, both in and out of state and federal courts, and in cases with assets that have included: golf courses, shopping centers and entertainment complexes, restaurants, hotels, office buildings, warehouses, industrial and environmentally sensitive properties, undeveloped land, leasehold interests and healthcare contracts. Ms. Hart has practiced in the area of bankruptcy and commercial litigation since graduating with honors from Stetson University College of Law in 2001, where she served as the Managing Editor of the Stetson Law Review, and was the recipient of the Judge Stanley Milledge Award and the McBride Family Scholarship. Prior to joining Stichter Riedel, Ms. Hart had extensive experience with the representation of both debtors and creditors in bankruptcy cases, out of court workouts, and state court proceedings. Ms. Hart also served a two year term as law clerk for the Honorable Judge K. Rodney May, United Stated Bankruptcy Judge, Middle District of Florida.

REPRESENTATION
Ms. Hart has served as lead or co-counsel for debtors in Chapter 11 cases, and for both plaintiffs and defendants in complicated, commercial foreclosure actions. Some of these are listed below:
HRK Holdings, LLC and HRK Industries, LLC- ongoing Chapter 11 reorganization of a 675 acre industrial development site.

St. Pete Beach Properties, LLC- confirmed Chapter 11 reorganization of a hotel development project and resolution of disputes with Cadence Bank.

Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (In Special Liquidation)- representation of Special Liquidator as plaintiff in foreclosure action related to Channelside Bay Plaza and as defendant is an eviction action by the Tampa Port Authority.

Representation of numerous real estate developers in resolution of construction loans ranging from $1 million dollars to over $100 million dollars.

The Villas Condominiums Association, Inc. v. Villas Funding Company, Inc., et al., - successfully defended $15 million dollar Negligent Misrepresentation Claim Against Manager of Condo Converter and Officer through appeal to the Second DCA
